Odette Mazel (she/her) is a PhD student at the Melbourne Law School and Senior Research Fellow for the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health in Victoria, Australia. Her research focuses on the lived experience of LGBTIQ+ people and Indigenous peoples and the ways in which to queer and decolonise social, cultural and legal encounters. Her work draws on postcolonial, feminist and queer theories.
