Aishwarya Birla is a doctoral student at University College Dublin where her research focusses on international refugee protection norms in non-signatory states. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor of Law at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India. Her research and writing has appeared in the International Journal of Refugee Law, Statelessness and Citizenship Review, and the Australian Feminist Law Journal.
